Welcome to our precious school! It is an honor to partner with you in your child’s primary education. Each day at Madison Station, excitement and energy fills the air. Students engage in rigorous daily programming, immerse themselves in a plethora of arts platforms, develop healthy lifestyle awareness, and strive to build and demonstrate excellent character. We work together to support each other and our community, while sparking a love of learning in our children.  Your family is our family and we look forward to creating memories with you this year.
 

About Mrs. Davis

Mrs. Kara Davis has a B.S. in Elementary Education and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. Before serving as MSE's Principal, she served in various roles in Madison County Schools. Serving as MSE's Assistant Principal, an At-Risk Strategist, Curriculum Specialist and classroom teacher, she has a varied background and a lifelong love of education. She has also served in the Yazoo City School District as a teacher. 

Mrs. Davis and her husband Brady have two daughters, Whitney and Amelia.  They have one pet, a Shih Tzu named Susie who loves to cuddle on the couch. Mrs. Davis and her family love Mississippi State, our Madison Central Jaguars, visiting the beach, and being together! They are proud members of Madison Heights, PCA.

Message from Mrs. Rosenblatt, MSE Assistant Principal

Welcome to Madison Station Elementary! I am so grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with your family as we build a strong academic foundation of excellence for your child. Madison Station Elementary is a special place, and I am honored to serve our community as an Assistant Principal. I am excited to spend my days at MSE. Let’s go JAGS!

About Mrs. Rosenblatt

Mrs. Rosenblatt holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from The University of Arizona and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Mississippi College. Before serving as an Assistant Principal at MSE, she was a Literacy Specialist in Madison County Schools. She also was a teacher serving K-5 students in Madison County Schools, Jackson Public Schools, and Fairfax County Schools, Alexandria, Virginia.

Mrs. Rosenblatt and her husband Paul have three children and two Cavapoos named Rosie Mae and Bear. She is a proud parent of two current MSE Jaguars, Beckham and Emmie, and a future Jag – Livvy. Mrs. Rosenblatt was named the 2021-2022 Madison County Schools District Parent of the Year and served as the 2021-2022 MSE PTO President. The Rosenblatts enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and cheering on Beckham, Emmie, and Livvy at the ball fields.

Message from Mr. WilliamsMSE Assistant Principal

Welcome to Madison Station Elementary! I am excited to serve as your child's assistant principal.  It is my sincere pleasure and honor to be able to assist Mrs. Davis in making this a great school year and support the mission of Madison Station Elementary School.  I look forward to working with our dedicated staff and community to help provide the best educational experience for our students.  I enjoy being an educator and working with students and their families to make each year the best school year ever.  Thank you in advance for your support and encouragement as we work with you and your children.  I look forward to meeting and talking with you.  I am here to support you, so please call me if I can assist you or your child in any way.

About Mr. Williams 

Mr. Williams has earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, a Master's Degree in Education Administration and Supervision from Jackson State University, and a Specialist Degree in Instructional Leadership from William Carey University.  Currently, he is pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership at William Carey University.  He feels that the more he learns and grows, so will the students and staff.  His philosophy is "Reach before you teach".  He is the oldest of three children.  He is a member of Word of Life Church where he serves as Worship Leader. He enjoys playing the piano and singing.  Also, he is a member of the world renowned Mississippi Mass Choir.  He has traveled overseas to Spain and the Canary Islands with Jerry Smith and the Black Heritage Singers and the Mississippi Mass Choir.
